Our story

We were not founded to sell things. We were founded around a formula.

Anxiera Labs, Inc. is a small, deliberately narrow botanical research house. There are no founder portraits on this page and no celebrity advisors. There is a plant archive, a laboratory bench, and fourteen years of notes — most of them citations from the peer- reviewed literature on chamomile, apigenin and L-theanine.

What we believe

01

One formula is enough.

A house that sells forty products believes in none of them. We have worked on the same botanical preparation since 2011, refining it for fourteen years before allowing it to be manufactured.

02

Water is where molecules go to die.

Delicate plant compounds hydrolyse in storage. So we keep them dry and dormant, and let you wake them the moment you need them.

03

The plant is the source, the lab is the discipline.

We do not invent molecules. We isolate what chamomile, green tea leaf and lavender already carry, and we handle them carefully.

04

We say what it is, and what it is not.

This is a dietary supplement for everyday wellness. It is not a medicine, it treats no condition, and we will never write a sentence that suggests otherwise.

05

Quiet over noise.

No influencers, no urgency timers, no miracle language. A plate, a bottle, an honest label.

From the house ledger

2011
The house is founded in Boston, Massachusetts around one literature question: why do calming plant molecules survive the plant but not the cup?
2013
The apigenin literature — chamomile's GABA-A receptor-site binding, catalogued across PubMed — becomes the reading list the bench works from.
2016
Harvard Health's work on the relaxation response and clinical trials of chamomile extract for generalised anxiety shape our endpoint language: calm, not treatment.
2018
L-theanine trials (green tea leaf, alpha-wave and stress-marker studies indexed in PubMed) are added to the formula file.
2020
The two-part activation principle is documented: dry actives kept dormant, isotonic base kept separate.
2022
Freeze-drying replaces air-drying so the apigenin fraction stops hydrolysing on the shelf.
2024
Mucosal comfort work: the isotonic botanical base is reformulated around pH and osmolarity, not fragrance.
July 2025
After fourteen years of reading, bench work and refusal, the house takes its first production decision. One formula goes to manufacture.
